【摘要】明清时期广东出现了基塘农业、稻田养鱼、稻田养鸭、黄猄蚁防治柑橘害虫、植物农药防治害虫等生态农业，还延伸到近现代。本文还初步探讨了它们的现代价值。

The Germination and Modern Inheritance of Guangdong Ecological
Agriculture in the Ming and Qing Dynasty
Abstract: In the Ming and Qing Dynasty, Some kinds of ecological agriculture, such as land - pool structure, fish raising in rice paddy, duck feeding in rice paddy, the killing of orange - pests with Ants, botanical pesticide, had existed in Guangdong Province. As a type of techno - culture that lasts to now, ecological agriculture means a great deal these days. It accords with the ways of sustainable development of modem agriculture. It can make great economical profits to link traditional legacy with modem technology. It has aesthetical and instructive values as a type of historical culture to be exploited.

明清时期广东农业经济发展最为迅速。这一时期农业技术文化的一个突出的现象就是生态农业的萌芽。以往的研究，主要集中在桑基鱼塘。①但较全面地论述这一时期的生态农业的萌芽，以及将它作为农业文化的延伸形态来探讨的文章尚未见。本文试对此作一探讨。
