【内容提要】在20世纪文学批评视野中，考德威尔从资本主义的社会和历史变迁中考察文学的本质和意义，戈德曼探索文学作品的结构要素与特定社会集团思想体系结构之间的同源性关系，伊格尔顿分析文学作品和社会意识形态的关系。由于他们的努力，使20世纪社会批评的视野在审美与历史的交汇中向社会整体文化情境掘进，在理论趋向和批评程式上体现出一种文化分析的立场。
【英文摘要】Among critics of the 20th century,Caudwell explored the nat-ure and meaning of literature by examining the social and his-torical changes of capitalism,Goldman tried to reveal the rel-ationship between the structural elements of literary works a-nd the structure of ideas of given social groups,while Eaglet-on focused on a scrutiny of the correlation between literature and ideology.Thanks to their efforts,social criticism of the 20th century was oriented towards a combination of historical and aesthetical perspectives and a delving into culture as a whole,so much so that in both the theoretical tendency and pr-actical approaches criticism started to assume the stand of c-ultural analysis.
