摘要:本文通过对齐白石衰年变法前后作品题材、绘画风格的比较,剖析了其衰年变法的社会、心理原因,论证了齐白石衰年变法是对传统中国画的解构与重建,是对自我形象、内在思想感情的解构与重建,并隐含着对旧制度的解构与重建。这种艺术变革是社会变革的征候和预兆,与西方现代主义艺术有着不谋的暗合和本质的区别。

dissection and reconstruction
——an analysis on qi baishi's reform in his old age
abstracts : by comparing the theme of his works and characteristic style of his paintings around his old age, this paper discusses social and psychic causes of his reform. and it is proved in this article that qi baishi's reform in his old age is the dissection and reconstruction of traditional chinese painting and of self-images and inner feelings, and it implies the dissection and reconstruction of old systems. this artistic reform is the omen of social reform, and it coincides naturally with and distinguishes essentially from modern western art.
本文试图探讨著名国画家齐白石(1864-1957)“衰年变法”时期其绘画题材、风格转变所隐含的复杂的社会、心理因素。
我们首先把齐白石和他的作品放到当时的历史背景及思想体系中去考察。齐白石出身于农民家庭,童年曾牧牛耕田,做过木匠;二十七岁始拜师学画,打下坚实的工笔画基础;四十岁后,七年间五出五归,画风渐变,走上石涛、八大写意花卉一派;后因家乡匪患,背井离乡,孤身避难定居北平。当时北平画坛多数画家认为他的绘画笔墨“粗野”,戏称其作品是“野狐禅”。他听信陈师曾先生的劝告,改变画风,独创红花墨叶的双色花卉与浓淡几笔虾、蟹、草虫,时人称为“衰年变法”。
试想,在那外患频仍、民族灾难深重的年代,齐白石创作那情趣盎然的瓜果、草虫之作,难道仅是表达一已对家乡草木的依恋,没有任何社会目的吗?当然不是!
